“It's been a couple of months since the wedding and people are still saying to me how good the band were. The Different Lights were absolutely incredible. They were easy to talk to prior to the event discussing the venue, timings, types of songs to play and they even went and learnt a new song for the first dance. They arrived on time and set up very quickly. All of the band were very approachable and didn't mind at the fact that there was only a small space to perform and dance due to the size of the venue. When they started playing, every song was played to perfection. They joined in with the banter of the guests encouraging people to dance. Every song was well picked, well suited and excellently performed. The dance floor was completely full all night resorting to certain people having to dance on tables to find space. All in all, I would highly recommend The Different Lights to anyone wanting a night full of incredible music and fun filled dance floors.”

“Booked for daughter Charlotte's wedding at Iscoyd Park North Wales and all were blown away by these guys. Event was 4th August 2018. Pleasantly surprised by addition of a female member which just added to the all round excellence of the band. All songs performed brilliantly and packed out the dance floor until the last tune. Calls for one more song worked twice - would not hesitate to book this band again. Nice bunch of people too who clearly like playing and had a good time as well.”

Unexpectedly there was a female vocalist on the night as well as the four piece and this went down a storm she has a great voice. Song renditions were all great and the band very tight. “My now wife and I booked The Different Lights to play at our wedding and they were amazing from start to finish. They played a huge part in making it the best day of our lives! The songs were an eclectic mix ranging from Deacon Blue, Van Morrison to The White Stripes and Daft Punk but they all had two things in common- they were all incredibly well performed and they all got people up on their feet dancing and singing along from the first dance right up until the end of the night. We also opted for a keyboard acoustic set during our drinks reception immediately after the ceremony which again added so much to proceedings- people were singing along before they had even sat down for dinner! They were utterly professional, had an amazing ability to start (and sustain!) the party and our friends are still raving about them! Do yourselves a favour and get them booked!”

“The Different Lights were a really great band who the majority of attendees enjoyed. The first two sets were fabulous and everyone was up dancing. The third set I don't feel was to everyone's taste as the music was a little heavy for the majority of the ageing guests however this should not take away from how fantastic the band were on the night. I think on reflection I should have been more specific about the playlist required in advance. The front man was fab and was very friendly and supportive. Overall we rated them highly as did the hotel staff who thought they were excellent.”
